I am a certified music practitioner (CMP) / therapeutic musician creating peaceful, healing environments through live bedside piano music. My goal is to help people navigate a difficult time of life by using live music to transform their environment into a safe and peaceful space in which to move forward through their healing journey, and to teach and inspire others to use music as a tool to balance body, mind and spirit. I have created calming atmospheres through music for virtually every patient condition; from the critically injured, to the chronically and terminally ill, Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients to the actively dying. Along with my private practice, I have worked in some of the top medical institutions in Maryland, including the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center and the R Cowley Adams Shock Trauma Center. I am also a music composer, currently working on my first album of therapeutic music. I occasionally write music for film and television with past credits including national and international television productions, educational, corporate and video web-based projects. I live in Baltimore, Maryland, with my handsome husband. We have two very cools kids.
